Texas sets maximum fees for notarial acts under Government Code §406.024 and online notarization under §406.111. A service-package price is not the statutory fee for a single notarial act.

Fee itemization: Notarial acts must be identified separately from travel and other non-notarial services. Texas online notarization has its own fee limit; a platform or online-session handling fee cannot be added above the permitted fees.
Both mobile notary and loan signing include travel within a base radius. Beyond that, flat surcharges apply—no per-mile metering.

Request a written, itemized quote before authorizing service. It should identify the notarial acts and signatures, any permitted online-notarization fee, and separately agreed non-notarial services. Keep the itemized receipt with your appointment records.
